As part of a whole-house residential renovation, I was given the opportunity to develop preliminary children’s room concepts as a learning experience within an active client project. Working from real client profiles, lifestyle needs, and individual interests, I explored design solutions tailored to each child’s personality while balancing flexibility for future growth and evolving preferences.

Design children's spaces that feel imaginative and personalized while remaining practical and adaptable as interests and needs change over time. Each room needed to reflect an individual personality while maintaining cohesion with the larger home renovation.
-
Using information gathered from the clients’ lifestyle and each child’s interests, I explored concepts that balanced playful themes with longevity. Throughout the process, I gained valuable exposure to how residential projects move beyond design ideas into sourcing, specification, procurement, and documentation considerations.
